Hello All!!!
I bought my first Dak YESTERDAY and....wwooooooooooooooohhhhhhoooooooooooooo!!!!
This afternoon, i added an amplifier to my stock 8 speakers INFINITY sound system...
I passed my 12v power from the hood and installed a line converter for my new amp...
I find some answer last week about it on this forum and want to share my infos...

Congratulations. I just got mine about a month and a half ago. Mine came with the Infinity Sound system too, but I thought it only had 6 speakers. Either way, they're great trucks, the sound system sounds great and 4-wheel drive works better than my old 93 Ranger and my 89 Toyota. The extra bed room (length, width, and depth) is also a great thing.

I have a 98 RC Dak V6 w/5 speed! I have 2 - 12" JL Audio W1's behind the seats and I have a Kenwood 150X2 pushing them. I also have a little Zapco 50X2 pushing the stock highs which are getting ready to be replaced with 2 sets of Boston Acoustic Component sets!!
