Previous 4x4s:
1. 72 Jeep CJ-5 304 V-8/4-speed. Headers, winch, great for wheeling, good power, crap on the highway.
2. 78 F-150 351 cid/4-speed. No mods, spent all available money on repairs and gas. Fair 4 wheeling, good on highway after installing front steering stabilizer. Too much maintenence.
3. 87 Toyota pickup,22R/5-speed. Tin can POS. No power, developed trans problems. Never took 4 wheeling, was not confident that it would hold up. Unloaded that tin can after a few months.
4. 87 Dodge Ram 3/4 ton 360 cid/auto. Mods included winch, wheels and tires. Good power, excellent 4 wheeling though tough in switchbacks. A little doggy on the highway. Hell of a tough truck. Loved gasoline.
5. 94 Nissan extended cab, 3.0L/5-speed. Solid truck. Beefy frame and quality heavy duty construction. Suprisingly little power for a V-6 in a smaller truck. Good 4 wheeling, good on the road. No squeeks or rattles. Only mod was installing a sunroof.
6. Gotta include the Dak. 2001 4.7 auto. Mods include muffler, Airaid, hard tonneau, SS nerfs, Fumoto oil drain valve. Excellent power, excellent 4 wheeling, excellent on highway, perfect size, heavy duty construction, no rattles or squeeks. Rides like a Caddy.

unfortunatly it got stolen in jan 98, (aww poor me) not! then I went to dodge and ordered my dak and received it in april 98

1. 1969 VW Bug. Semi-auto transmission. Slowest vehicle on the face of the earth. Mods: replacement transmission and alternator.
2. 1979 VW Rabbit 4 speed. Great car. cheap and fun. No mods.
3. 1989 Toyota Tercel 5 speed. Dullest car on the face of the earth with absolutely no personality. Mods: added a radio.
4. 1994 Dakota 3.9 2WD RC 5 speed. Fun truck. Loud, rough around the edges. Mods: bigger tires, better stereo, topper.
5. 1996 VW Jetta GLX 5 speed. Sweet driving car...great acceleration with the 6 cylinder, great brakes, great handling. My bargain BMW. Expensive to maintain. Mods: Bilstein shocks to replace stock too-soft shocks.
6. 2000 Dakota 4.7 4X4 CC auto. Nice and smooth, with good power and great engine sounds. Mods: cab-high topper, gibson cat-back, airaid intake.

i had a 68 VW bug, it was so low the front 135R15 rubbed the headlight bucket when i hit a bump. that car was a blast to drive. it was like a big go-cart and the handling was awsome. i want to buy another one just for fun.

But it had toooooo small an engine and tooooo small a gears to push those big tires.
I fixed that problem by buying a Dak.....hehehe.

1. 1994 Dakota Sport V6 emerald green 2WD Auto.
98,000 miles and when t-boned by a drunk driver doing 40mph. Well, he had no money or insurance so I or my insurance company couldn't get a dime off of him. These trucks can take a pounding!
2. 1994 Dakota SLT (present) 32,000 miles when bought a year ago. Auto V6 (V8's were $2,000 out of my price range because insurance didn't give me much). This truck had done great, see my profile for mods. It's got 48,500 miles now and not a spot of rust.

1. 1975 Dodge Dart, slant six, auto, rustbucket big time but reliable as the rock of gibraltar. Green with Green vinyl top. nol AC and NON power disk brakes. AM radio too! three speed wipers but had the foot pump for the washer fluid.
2. 1975 Chrysler Cordoba...360 2 bbl, 727 torqueflight....cruise tilt, Ice cold AC white vinyl top, candy apple red. 8 1/4 sure grip axle..my FAVORITE vehicle thus owned..sold it with 189K on the clock and stillrunning when I sold it. AM/FM and boy was it a looker!
3. 1984 Plymouth reliant..2.2 carb, A413 torqueflight, grey and greay...put on struts, timing belt, and muffler...got 31 MPG on the hiway and sold it with 105K on the clock which takes me too.....
4. The all star piece of sh**. 1979 Grand Markey with 351W, and a hosed up variable venturi carb, had a c-4 under it and more problems than bill clinton has had women..cruise did work as did the power seat..bought this in a moment of total stupidity.
5. 1992 White Dodge Sprit 2.5 auto, air, tilt cruise, am/fm good little car generic as all hell and good runner till a F***stick from Ohio ran a red light and smashed the sh** out of it and put my mom in intensive care for 3 weeks. Car was totaled. Had red interior and bucket seats like my cordoba. Most reliable mopar I owned. One muffler and a tuneup plus belts was all she ever needed. NEVER HAD TO MESS WITH BRAKES ON THIS OR ANY OF THESE PREVIOUS MOPARS!
6. 1997 interpid lease car, burgandy 3.3l and wonderful ride and handling and good MPG. Some brake issues but not many, ran the crap out of it and it never quit. Headlights sucked though.
7. 1999 intrepid, 2.7 gutless at low end but a little quieter than the 3.3L it too was a company lease car. GUnmetal gray was the color. good Ride. Better headlights than on the 1997 model.
8...MY dak with warped rotors and a jekyll/hyde 45RFE trans. 19K on the clock. Club cab forest green with 4.7 V-8...air tilt cruise AM/FM and 9 1/4 trac lok axle with 1450 pound payload. Has factory bedlineer and extang tonneau cover.

1. 79 Ford Bronco: First car. Swapped the 351 for a 429. True dual exhaust with glasspacks, edelbrock intake, Carter 625 CFM 4 barrel carb, 33" mudders Alpine pullout, 2 12" soundstreams lanzar amplifier. This was a brute. Ate a lot of gas.
2. 78 Ford Mustang II. 4 cyl 4speed. Bought it in near perfect shape. The bright orange paint was still very glossy and the sunroof had no leaks $650 with 69k orig miles. Drove this while the thirsty Bronco only came out on weekends.
3. 84 Fiero 2m4. No mods, but a fun car. Handled extremely well. Needed more power. Traded the mustang II for this and still had the Bronco.
4. 88 Ford F-250 460 5spd. Traded the Fiero and the Bronco because I needed a truck. The only mod was a Kenwood deck and the 12" subs and amp from the Bronco.
5. 95 Taurus SHO. We still own this and we actually bought it for my wife to drive, after I bought the Dak. Leather, power everything, and with the silencer cone removed, this car screams when the secondaries open up. Same color as the Dak too.
I am really happy with the vehicles we currenlty own.

77 F250 with a torque monster 460, indestructable truck, better know as the TANK
91 F150 4x4 (best truck I ever owned)
94 F150 Lightning (owned it at the same time as the 91 4x4, sweet truck)
96 F150 4x4 (Lemon)(traded the 91 and 94 in on it)
97 Ram 4x4 (Lemon)
98 F150 4x4 (T-boned a guy who was speeding the wrong way on a 1-way street)
99 F150 4x4 (Great truck, until my wife accidentally got pregnant with our 2nd son and we needed more room)
00 Dakota Quad cab 4x4 (Current ride. Very close to being better than my 91 F150, if its as good in 2 years then it will be and may be even better)

87 Toyota 4x4 w/22R motor. Only mods were 31" BFG's and add-a-leaf. Bulletproof little truck, withy great off-road capabilites, but no power to pull my new boat. Also, cab was small and seat's were kinda uncomfortable.

'89 Dodge Dakota 2.5 (no problems but no balls either!! 120,000 miles , and still see the old gal drivin' around!! Kinda miss 'er)
2000 Dakota cc 4x4 4.7 slt. Many Tim Allen Grunting sounds ahh ahh arrreh!!! I've had this a year on the 25 of August,and havent hit 5000 miles yet!! God,I love workin' close to home!!!

1) 1992 Chevy Caprice w/ v8 350 was free and was fairly reliable untill one day i drove it over a curb and it hasn't been the same since... still own it 192,000 miles
2) 2000 Saturn SC-1 4cyl auto. Probably the best car i've ever driven for everyday use. it even had a 3rd door. had 29,000 miles, traded it in on my dak.
3) 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport 2.5, 5speed, single cab. only got 300miles on it, great truck so far for hauling work stuff around, and everyday use. (if i could only afford the v8 :( )

1993 Mitsu Mirage (piece of crap, I use to ramp it up driveways - I drove it to the dealer clicking and clacking and traded it in - i wonder how much longer those CV's lasted:)
1997 Neon 4 Door, Cool Car, Transmission went. (2k miles)
Replacement 1998 2 Dr Neon Sport, cool car, no problems, traded in on Avenger.
1998 Avenger - Sweet car! 2.5L V6 Auto, muffler and some custom interior mods done. Took it to be serviced, and the service shop screwed it all up - they ended up giving me the dakota.
2000 4.7L Auto CC Black Dak Sport
The cream of the crop! :) Got this truck 3k below their cost :) Gotta love screw-ups. 26k miles, no complaints. check my web page for mods, and stuff :)

1) 1977 Dodge Aspen Stationwagon. Slant 6 with roughly 250 000 km. Bought it used. Good engine and tranny, but never liked the rain.
2) 1987 Plymouth Horizon, 2.2L 5 speed. Best car I've owned. Good in the city but lacking power on highways. This car got me thru many cold winters when I went to college and university. Sold it with 194 000 km on the odometer.
3) 1998 Plymouth Breeze, 2.4L auto. Bought it brand new. Ok car, but too low to the ground. Traded it in for my next vehicle (below) at 21 500 km.
4) 1995 Dakota 4x4 SLT, 5.2L auto. Traded the Breeze for the Dak, with the Dak at 71 500 km when I got it. I have never regretted trading in a brand new car for a used truck. Good truck !

87 dakota sport white w/3.9 auto 4x4 shortbed still have her and restoring for fun
94 ranger x-can 2x4 w/4.0 auto with 3.15 gears POS engine blew at 150,000 after I traded it in it blew on a test drive.
97 dak SLT x-cab MOSS GREEN METALLIC w/3.9 auto 2x4 I love this lil truck and it can run hard all day and not complain a bit.

1st- 81 Chevy Citation manual v6 stock (made one good car from two, swapped good engine into better body)
2nd- 69 Ford F100 v8 manual stock (wish i would never have gotten rid of)
3rd- 89 Ford SHO manual v6 stock 1 quick car (got t-boned and hail damage)
4th- 93 Ford Taurus auto v6 was moms got because of hail on sho and 93 taurus and she got new car
5th- 95 Dakota auto v6 dodge motorsports edition

5) 1994 Dakota 3.9 auto...has markIII package... but plan to remove some of it...been a great truck,i have put 40,xxx of the 91,xxx on it and not had the first problem! MANY mods to come.
