 Subject: need advice

my 98, 3.9 started a ticking noise. well looked all over. now transmission slips, jumps and bogs down, but when it does that ticking gets quieter weither they have something to do with each other i dont know any ideas. also when this happens check engine light flashes as it is retreiving codes. 49,13,7,16,4,58,8,3 all of those and maybe more ive missed any help would b apprecaited

might i suggest,
http://www.actron.com/code_lookup.php
but those you posted don't look right for OBDII codes. or spend 20 bucks for a Haynes repair manual, it will have code definitions and explain how to fix them.
