Hi, I just bought a 93 Dakota, never had one before, and like it alot so far. The only fly in the ointment is these piece of sh*t plastic composite headlights. I know they can be polished, and I tried that, but it didn't really get them PERFECT, which is what I'm wanting. I understand from people at the parts store that some Dakotas from 87-96 had seal beams and NOT those plastic composties, I've been looking around, and have seen a couple on the road. What is involved in changing mine over to good old-fashioned seal beams? Does the headlight have a different assembly? If so, I could get them at a salvage yard, I suppose... I can change these over, can't I?
