What is y'alls experience with your insurance companies?
Which company is the best?
How do you and your ins. people deal with all the mods and additions to your trucks?
Do they pay to repair that $4000 paint job, and do you have to pay extra premiums?

i have Unitrin Direct. i got into an accident and it was my fault. i rear ended someone. it totaled their car and messup my front bumper and $4000 paint job. they paid for it all. $500 deductable of coarse.

Amex Insurance through Costco 1 claim on my previous '01 CC 4x4 not at fault and the other bozo was uninsured. Rate raised 10% on 2nd renewal after that claim.
Got 1 estimate check arrived in 10 days after I submitted the estimate no hassle.
HUGE plus my insurance, 2 vehicles, Dak listed as daily driver and with full coverage including gap insurance on auto loan, dropped $133 for the next 6 month renewal.
My insurance shopping experience was that Costco was at minimum, 15% cheaper than anyone else, maximum difference was 60%.
