Subject: A/C Problems
IP: Logged

Message:
Greetings Fellow Dak owners,

I am having problems with the A/C on my 97 Dak, 3.9 V6. While driving on a trip, I noticed the ac blows cold air, but it cycled from blowing through the vents to the floor vents and back again. And there is a noise coming from undder the dash/passenger side. It also cycles. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Dino

I'm assuming the fan speed stays to same? It just cycles where the a/c comes out? Could be a vacuum leak or an actuator problem. There's an actuator on the passenger side and one on drivers side. These control where the heat and a/c come out. I suppose it could be the HVAC control unit too.
