Subject: 10 yr old + impact wrench = attitude!

I had my daughter change the dirt tires on their ATV's to the sand paddles to get ready for the Cinders this week end.

I had her do most of it herself and gave her the impact wrench :)

She is 10 and a spoiled brat much of the time.

I grabbed my video camera while she was changing one of the tires. She gave me a sh*t load of attitude. Check out these short videos (1 meg real player)

Short Video Part I

Short Video Part II

She's kind of a little biatch for 10 yrs old at times. But I think she should learn to do things herself. Nothing like a woman growing up not being able to check oil or check tire pressure :p

That's awesome! I drag my 7 year old daughter under the Dak every time I'm doing something and make her get dirty too. She asks a million questions but knows where everything in my toolbox is.

GraphiteDak,

Cute kid, but I hope she got that spanking... Jeez, my Dad would have knocked me into the next year if I threw something at him. The good news is that someday she will be putting on all your mods while you "supervise" with a beer in your hand....

Graphite,

Where does she get that attitude in the first place? Improper parenting skills? (just kidding, we all know the best parented kid can develop an attitude). Anyone who would call their own daughter a little biatch though, man I gotta draw the line there.

I really enjoy your posts, but I think you are way off base on this one, and I don't mean on trying to teach her something mechanical; that is a good thing, it's just the biatch thing that got me.

Also, with the sickos in this world today (no, I'm not one of them) I wouldn't put my kid's picture on the internet.

agree with ReadAllPosts. That is pretty bad to refer to your own kids that way especially if she reads your posts here! I hate to say it, but kids with that kind of attitude just need some good old fashioned reinforcement and responsible adult examples. Set an example for your kids by not writing negative slams about them for starters. I respect and love my kids too much to talk about them that way in the first place.

My daughter is only 2 1/2 and she gives attitude now and then. That's what happens when you spoil them. But I only blame myself because there is nothing wrong with loving them too much.

hehe..one of the first things she learned to say was "daddy's truck." Just about made my eyes water.

Me saying she is kind of a little "biatch" for 10 yrs old is just that. Describing her female attitude.
That's the best way to describe spoiled girls these days. SO I think my description is about accurate :)

Them kids these days have it WAYYYYYY better than my poor a$$ did. I wish I had HALF of what my kids have (they are 10 and 8) vs. what I had at 15!!!

Anyway. We can't completely control what they do and who they play with. Bad thing is she plays with older girls, not other 10 yr olds.

The only thing we got going for us is to get her into so many hobbies she wont be bored during high school and be a drunk or a pot head simply because they have nothing to do but sit on a wall after school and find trouble.

They have their ATV's and they have recently taken a fancy to go to the race track.
With the '74 Duster I just bought I have YEARS of work and track time coming ahead of us.

I hope it keeps enough interest that the girls (and their friends) would be around us rather than with OTHER people doing gawd knows what.

But the quesion is why is she a spoiled little biatch? Only the parents can be responsible for spoiling their kids (with the help of some grandparents). There are different kinds of spoiling; i.e. the material kind, the "they get their way everytime" kind and the plain good old fashioned loving your kids kinds.

But the one thing I agree with ReadAllPosts is the fact I'd never put my kid's picture on the internet. He (or she) is right, too many weirdos out there.

I don't get what you are saying. I didn't post my address or what school she goes to!

Not like there isn't 100,000,000 other pictures of kids faces in advertisement.

Anyway. I've been puting the law down with her lately.

One thing I WILL add is that these kids do ALL of the dishes, Laundy, trash, and soon mowing the lawn when they can push that b@stard lawn mower!

And at least I made her change her own wheels.
I could have been harder and her and made her do it without the impact wrench! :p

A man was showing his arrogant, stuck up bitch of a daughter around his sausage factory. She was thoroughly unimpressed and made her feelings known to her father at every opportunity.

The father, becoming flustered, showed his daughter the new high efficiency sausage maker. "Look," he said, "we put a pig in there and a sausage comes out there."

"Wow," his daughter said, "Do you have a machine where you put a sausage in and get a pig out?"

"Why, yes I do," he said, "It's called you mother."

Thanks guys.

My point exactly. This is NOT a place some devients SHOULD be hanging around I'd hope. And if some sicko wacks off to stuff like that, we would never know and he'll get it in the end anyway when he's getting plugged by Lucifer and Saddam Hussein in hell just like in the Southpark Movie

Don't THAT paint a wonderful picture???

Besides. The guys on here who know me better have seen past pix and videos and know she isn't always a brat. In half of my offroad or race track videos, you can here my kids right there in the back ground.
I think she's in one of those "attitude" stages and I've had to lay the smack down a few times lately.

The kids are spoiled in some ways, but they also has to do things for themself.
