I have replaced the cat,O2 sensor, idle speed motor, map sensor, egr, ect.
I have disconnected the negative, and turned the ignition to on many times.
This truck has 256,000miles, engine rebuilt 75,000 miles ago.
It has a 3.9.
Two mnths ago it started missing ever so slightly, just a cough. Now it has no power at all. I can't hardly get to 30mph.If I floor the thottle it will kick down, but, after reaching rpm will not shift. I let up on the gas and it shifts to overdrive and has no power. Then it will start missing.
I replaced the idel motor but can't set the rpm. the engine stays at one speed while i'm turning the adjusment, then all the sudden it jumps up to 3700 rpm.
I really need your help this thing it braking me.
I love my truck and have owned it since 1993.
