I have a 1999 5.2 with 114000 miles that misses and no one can find the reason why. I've had it to a repair shop twice with no luck. All I get from them is that it doesn't show up on their machine.
I've replaced the plugs, the wires, drained & flushed the tranny and have had most of the front end replaced.
I love the pickup but I'm close to getting rid of it for this reason. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

i got the same truck as you.. and what do you mean as misses??
Mine does something like that, aka when you give it gas it stalls a
little bit, and gurgles around till you get in the higher rpm range
then its fine? Explain more about your problem in detail... then i
can help, cuz i know what my problem was...

Kinda hard to explain other than you can feel it at around 45 to 50 mile an hour with hardly any load put on it. If I kick it in the ass, there is no miss, if it idles there is no miss and driving 70/75mph there is no miss (at least I can't feel it). I drive into town and slow down to 50 then you feel it.
