My uncle has one and said he gets about 22 mpg. Not that much more than the V-8 and a lot less power.

I'm assuming thats all HWY. I do a combo of CITY/HWY and I get about 17-18. Before I decided to do anything to my truck I got about 22 mpg goin through a mountain pass(Cascades). My truck is also a 5 spd.

99 club cab, 3.9 auto, 188,000 mi, last tank full
19.6 with chain rattle, plenum gasket leak (1 qt
of oil in 900 mi) @70 per. Bed cover, k&n filter
kit thats it. A good truck in spite of DC.
