 Subject: Coolant temp range question 4.7l

Does anyone know what the acceptable or "normal" temp range would be for a 4.7l with an auto tranny ans the max cooling package? The reason i ask is have been having a little overheating issue and im trying to cure it. I was running warm on the guage in normal driving showing anywhere between 210 and 218 on my scantool in around town driving and with my boat in tow it was creepign over 225+. I flushed the system today and replaced the t-stat with a 195deg stocker and it now runs between 199 and 203 depending on how hard i run it. and the guage on the dash seems back to normal. Im hoping that this did the trick but i neede to know whagt is concidered "normal" first. Im curious to see what it does towing my boat as well, i will find out the answer to that tommrow, its gonna be hot in MA and i plan to tow and pulg in the scantool.
