 Subject: Dash lighting options?

Hey, I'm in an '02 Dak and wondering if there are any options for dash lighting out there.
I've seen many new vehicles with a bright, crisp clear white light on the instrument panel and I'm wanting something like that for my truck. Is there anything out there other than that dang green stock thing?
Also, does anyone have any first experience with a white face gauge? I'd like some info on a white or platinum gauge face but don't want to go into it blind. Any brands work/look better? Any of them come with good instructions on how to maintain needle position?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
