Caution on the belts though...not every Powerdyne uses the same belt. The belts are built by Gates (under license from Powerdyne - they own the patent on them) but come in four different widths. This is due to internal clearances on the blower which requires slightly different width belts. Powerdyne measures the clearance and then installs the belt. You can try them (I did - thanks Tip, finally got them - whew) but be very careful with the width. If the belt is too wide, it'll shred itself under load. If the belt is too narrow, it'll move back and forth on the gears causing excessive stretch and premature failure.

If powerdyne quit selling them to the public and they break quite often then where would you get them. How long do the belts last between changes. I want to know because I want to get the powerdyne blower soon.

Powerdyne quite selling them to the public due to the fact which I just explained. One size doesn't fit all (or even "like" blowers).

Mine's been on there for over a year now without any issues. Others have been on just about as long and some have broke prematurely. Powerdyne will replace them if the blower is still under warranty. (Or, you can send it in and you'll pay about $150-$200 for the belt replacement and general "overhaul"...$450 with a new impeller.)
