I am having a problem finding ATF +4 for my truck. I had some mork done to the truck and i was told that I needed a transmission flush. I asked the guy doing my oil change if they had +4 and he told me that there was no diffrence between +3 and +4 and that he has been useing +3 on the newer trucks and has not had a problem .... whats the real answer..... where can I find +4 ....

First question, does your owners manual specify ATF+4?? If yes, then go ahead and listen to that dork and ask him to pay for tranny repairs lately.

You will only find ATF+4 at the dealer, or cantact the AMSOIL Sponser on this site and get AMSOIL Universal ATF. Have used it in my trans for over 130,000 miles with intervaled changes, not ONE issue ever.

good luck

Heavy Duty Service group, Leer cap w/out windows, Mopar Step bars and roof rack, Rhino liner in bed and on step bars, Pace Edwards Power Tailgate lock
3.55 rear, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, all possible fluids are AMSOIL

It can only be bought at the dealer, costs about $6 Canadian per Litre. The Amsoil thats supposed to work as well cost like $11, at least the stuff that I saw. IMO I would not use the ATF+3, I have never heard of things going wrong because people have used it but I still wouldn't do it simpley because its not recommended by Dodge.
