 Subject: Front crank oil seal

Recently had the front crank oil seal replaced for leaking. Went and got the "good stuff" at Napa. Would you believe that the seal is actually not as deep as the factory part? I have work done at a shop that's actually fair (believe it?) Anyway, the Napa seal starts to leak after a couple of weeks. I take it back to the shop and he tells me to go get one from the factory. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see the difference with my own eyes. Nice that he didn't charge me for the work on the second one. My opinion of critical engine parts has changed - stay with Mopar!
