Of course your going to defend Dodge. If you want to talk about hauling things, the 2 trucks that have lockers also come with a clever rail systems to tie down your loads. I had to rig my own tie-down anchors on my Dakota!

How long have we anticipated the latest Dak, in hopes that we would get a Hemi too? Search the forums! After all the waiting, no Hemi Dakota.

Dodge doesn't seem to be listening to its customers. They seem to be relying on brand loyalty, because those people will buy an inferior product and make excuses for it, rather than just buying the better product.

How many people have had to replace ball joints on their Dakota/Durango and blew it off as "well all cars have thier problems..."

Also, scroll up and look left; notice the category "Performance".

you have good points on the whole replacing ball joints and blowing it off. but for mostly everything else, you just sound like a pu$$y. in the midsize world, dakotas haul and tow more. end of story. who gives a sh!t about tiedowns. my god.
i dont need 345 horsepower in my dodge. thats just gonna make my tires spin way more than they do. i want towing and hauling ability. and guess what... dakotas have more of that than anyone else. and the dakotas can haul as much as like 7000 lbs. thats 500 lbs than the fullsize tundra. quite good i think. yea sometimes you haveto fix them alot. but not every year dodge is like that. mine isnt thats for sure. so take that tampon out of your pu$$y for gods sake.....

Uh,Webtiger

I never said the 04 or past modles were lame. Its the newer 05 Dakotas thats not in are likeness. Sure I got a 02 Dakota (rancho shocks installed,Superchip) and it to is a QC. Its off-road performance is ok. But try going over that wash out in a 05 and you'll see what I mean.

Also that guy driving his Toyota must not had a TC.

I stand corrected about your not dissing earier Dak years.
Aside from modding out the sound system for DVD the only mod I'm planning on is a Warn 9000 winch and beefier front bumper.
This thing rides so well in sandy washouts it's scary...
I test drove an '05 even brought it home and you're right they changed the suspension and lowered the body enough that the approach angle sucks big time. I can't get an '05 up into my back acre 'cause of the steepness. The '04 rumbles up with no problem.
