hey guys i just wanted to know what is so special about the the "stampede" package for our trucks. there is one that drives around town here. Are there any differences in horsepower or gearing or is it just apperance?

i think it's just an appearance package to make it look more sporty. no performance add-ons, to my knowledge.

That depends on what year/model the kit was installed.

The last couple of months worth of 2003 R/T's that Dodge built before ceasing production of the R/T model got Stampede body kits as standard equipment. These trucks would have the R/T sticker on the tailgate.

If it isn't an R/T then it's just a regular "Stampede" truck - as far as I'm aware they're just the basic 3.9L V6/4.7L V8 trucks without any unique performance options.
