Subject: A recent brake inspection of my R/T
IP: Logged

Message:
I just got back from my dealership where I had a 40,000 mile brake inspection done on my 2003 R/T C.C. I thought that I would share the results. It seems that Dodge got it right on the last model year of the R/T in that they went to the heavy-duty BOSH rotors and dual-piston callipers.

After 40,000 miles of combined city (more so the city part) and highway driving, I ***STILL*** have 70 % percent pad life on the front brakes and 80 % pad life on the rear brakes. The front and back sets of pad are ORIGINAL!!!

Not bad. I have no pulsations and the mechanic reported the braking system in prime shape.

My braking style is not aggressive with uniform application of the brake pedal.

I just thought that I would share what was reported.

Also, I had the blower motor go out, and as in most cases, it was the RESITOR BLOCK for the blower speeds. They replaced the BLOCK and the blower is back on-line with all speeds running just like new. J

Cheers!
