Have no brake lights. Have turn and running lights. Bulbs look good, it's like there is no power to them. ABS, brake light is on in dash, any ideas on the problem?

I know I have a problem and can't drive dummy, trying to find where the problem is. Brakes work fine though(have room here to test it) but I have no lights at the back. Would like some help finding the problem, not a confermation of what I already know.

The taillights have absolutely nothing to do with a braking system malfunction. I had a corroded wiring harness connector on my truck that caused a problem with the right side. You might want to check the connectors for corrosion. Since it is both sides though I doubt it's the connectors on the back. The brakelight also has a switch mounted behind the brake pedal. I would highly suspect that as well.

Checked out the switch, all the contact points seem to be alright, don't know how else I can check it to be sure its working right though.

Normally when the switch breaks, it makes your brake lights stay ON not off. It's usually broken by having to make sudden stop (ie. deer running out in front of you). I would suspect a sensor somewhere if your brake/ABS lights are on.
