butler-A1.com gave me the info i needed. It was a 92-97 casting motor so now I can pursue this further. BUT hey whats wrong with the 360??? What would you recomend I put in it.I thought my 360 was pretty stought,although finding performance upgrades is a little hard, especially trying to get another cam for it. thanx again though the guys at www.allpar.com were a big help to you should check them out to if you havent allready

Nothing is wrong with the 360 since both engines (318) used the 518 RH at one time. But ever though about dropping in the smaller 4.7 (287 cid) engine which also includes a much better designed transmission?
