Hey,I'm looking for some more help.Would a K&N drop in work better than the airaid filter that you referred to on the performance postings,It seems the drop in would get cooler air. This is for a 4.7L. Thanks for any advice....

A simple answer: No.
Anytime that you can get cooler air into the intake, you'll make more power. Anytime that you can run a less restrictive intake system, you'll make more power (in general..but there are variables).
