 Subject: junkyard question

i live in maryland and i got a black 98 cc slt dak. my left door has got a huge rust spot under the paint and all along the bottom of the door. i was thinking about having it fixed before i paint it but i heard on the radio about this junkyard called crazy ray's and they even said on the commercial "every door $40". so im thinkin of goin over there one day to see if i can find a door. but i got some questions first:
1. can i just unbolt the door and cut the wires or do you have to take everything out?
2. if you do take the whole door, do they charge you extra for whats on or in the door? ex: window regulator, switches
3. does a reg cab door fit on a cc body? are the reg cab and club cab doors the same?
4. wut year of daks will work with my 98? im guessing just 97-99.
5. will a door with manual windows and locks work if i transfer my old stuff to the new door?
6. is there anything else i should know about?
i probly wont be gettin my truck painted right away so ill be looking for a black, slt badged door that has no dents or rust and prefferably nice paint, or nice enough that it wont look too bad until i get it painted. think i will be able to find one?

I have never seen a gen 3 dakota in the 2 crazy rays locations I've been two. Brandywine, smittys, or redman junkyards would be the best.
Smittys had a black gen 3 last year with doors on it.

dam that suks. i was wondering about crazy rays because everything is so cheap. ill check into those other places but i went on the brandywine website and it lists a door for like $650

Has anyone else noticed how much most junk yards want for dakota items? I tryed to get a new bed for a 92 Dakota through the junk yard but was quoted any where from $300 to over $1000.00 for a used bed. and the camper shells are anywhere from $500.00 to $1000.00 i was just wandering if it is only here in Mo. or if the rest of the areas were also high.

yea the bottom of the door is rusted out. i bought the truck used and i dont think it was the first time. i think the door skin was replaced before. the door skin on the drivers side doesnt rest up against the support inside the door like it does on the passenger side. so when you tap the door it sounds hollow. i was goin to see how much it would be to get the rust fixed, then put dynamat on the inside of the door skin to make it sound not so hollow, but now im thinking of just replacing it.
