Message: i had the ball joints replaced on my truck, due to the recall. they told me i had a bad rightside outer tierod end,i told them i would fix that myself,does not look to difficult, (they wanted 300). would that cause my right front to make a clunking sound when i hit a bump ???? or could this be something else ??? truck does'nt pull, shimmy, or shake. just clunks on bumps or potholes. (2001-awd-4.7)
