Lately I notice that when I have my radio on, it sometimes "dies" or seems like it shuts off. Then I must turn the knob all the way off and then on again so it will come back on. My dak is a 93 if that matters.

I have a "93" Learon droptop that had the same problem the only fix that i could come up with was getting an after market unit and install it.
Although now the Learon has the radio in it from
DAK2 as DAK2 now has a Blaupunkt Alaska in it
with 10CD changer in the center console.

I had installed a pioneer cd in my 97 dakota, a few months ago the lights on the radio started to flicker. radio/cd still worked then it would be running and all off the sudden stop playing, all the lights would be on, but would go off, almost like losing the station and then back on again.
I ordered it from crutchfield so i got all the harnesses to go with it. I soldered the splices and had not had any problem until now...it lost all power? just went and bought another deck, plugged it in and it doesnt work either, i have checked fuses and all are ok. any ideas?
