I don't know. it might could run off a leave a 05 Dakota in the dust even with its 230 HP V8.

According to truck trend the little Rideline could almost keep up with a F-150 (5.4) while towing a 2.5 ton boat..

Now of course that would be BS. I'm gessing the guy in the F-150 didn't kneed to gun his like the one in the Ridgeline.. But I bet it would give u 05 owners a run for you money.

Yeah. That's BULL SHIIT if it kept up with a Ford triton 5.4 while pulling a boat.

The Ford was probably half throttle in either OD or 3rd under 4k RPM's while the Ridgeline probably stayed in between 5K and 6.5K like the V-Tec b!tch that it is.

There's just NO WAY that the smaller engine like that will be GRUNTING like a engine with good torque will. That fukker will be screaming all the time UNLESS he's going down hill! Guarenteed!

see if it can keep up with the hemi or the new endurance engine from nissan on the titan. everyone who drives the new f-150 is not impressed. the power it claims to have just is not there. i also agree it must have been turning some RPS's to keep up with that much load

Not here in Phoenix.
I rarely see any of those Ridgelines.
But I see them new funky looking Dak's everywhere I seem to look on a daily basis.

Maybe people don't want to pay more for a extremely light duty honda SUV when they can buy a light duty truck (full size trucks are light duty as well) with a V8 option for the same or less $$$.

Up here in mountains everyone has four wheel drive trucks etc. I haven't seen either one on the road yet. Seems kinda odd, at least for the Dakota. There are more here than any other place I've been. Last year I drove from Oxford, Ms to Biloxi and only saw one Dakota other than mine and I was looking for them all the way. Here you would have counted hundreds over five hours on the road.

I've seen a few Gen IV Dakotas around here, not a ton, and pickups are pretty common here (Colorado). One guy at my work has an '05 Quad, I have an '05 CC and the lot's got 6 or 7 Gen II/III's.

And quite honestly, I've NEVER seen a Ridgeline on the road.

They're just grociery getters. Nothing to worry about. I just want them to call it what it is.

A SUV and NOT a TRUCK! I'm sure it's just a Pilot with the rear cut out.

So in my book, Honda STILL does not make a truck.

Don’t you know dat anyting American built is highly inferior to anyting Japanese built?
Our Japanese V6’s easily outperform all American V8’s, bar none. Laws of physics do not apply to superior Japanese engineering. Get used to dis fact Yankee boys!

Not only will our superior Honda trucks spank anyting you got, soon you see superior Japanese V6’s towing motor homes and tractor trailers, not to mention we are going to start building locomotives soon using…you guessed it…superior Japanese V6’s.

Wait till you see our superior V6 Top fuel funny cars we working on…Kenny Bernstein be in big trouble soon…you wait! You Yankees only make us laugh when you boast about your powerful American V8’s! You haven’t got a chance against us!

PS.
Oh and by da way, we could have kicked your Yankee butts in WWII. Our superior Zero fighters were engineered much better than your inferior American fighter planes. We only let you win cause we felt sorry for you! Don't you forget it!

Get the heck out of here, I have already test drove a Ridgeline and my truck will beat it, hands down. Especially pulling a load.
I took it up a Montana hill and it shifted into some gear at 4500 RPM. My truck takes the same hill at 3000 RPM (4.7L V8)!
As far as WWII, you don't know what the heII you are talking about. Pardon my spelling.
