I have posted several times, and when I check back a few days later my post is gone. I can't even search to find it.

This doesn't happen to all my posts but it has happened to quite a few.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, Kawolski says "Mark" can and will delete posts that are complained about or out of line. I fall in the "trash" catagory at times (having some fun) but did have some ligitamate questions concerning dakota's and they too were deleted. I guess I'm on the $hit list.

If this is happening with legitimate posts, you might want to try using the "contact" link at the top of the page to let Mark know; in case its a problem with the system. I've found him to be a very reasonable guy, who would want to know if there is a problem.

Good question, big Ed ! The severe duty maintenance schedule says to do both at 12,000; yet I find it odd that the regular maintenance schedule doesn't seem to specify any interval at all for this maintenance. Those with the fussier limited slip rear would probably be wise to change it now and then, being sure to include the friction additive. I must confess this is maintenance I have regularly ignored in many years of 4x4 truck ownership and it has never caused me a problem (knock on wood). This might be a good question to start a new thread on to see what some of the others think.

ps - I recall that - you seem to be a good sport, I don't think I had a particularly tolerant response to that claim...

I do have the limited slip rear in the 02 and did change it (with the additive). I also have an 00 SLT Dak, I bought it with 35k miles on it. After a few weeks of driving the 00, I noticed a "noisy" rear. I changed the fluid in that ones rear at that time but its still noisy. (axle bearings?) someone at work said it could be my tires but I don't think so. anyway, I have'nt done the front dif. I had a Jeep Wrangler and NEVER changed the dif fluids, and never had a problem. The 02 just went over 12k and its rear is quite. I'll post as you suggest and see what others say. Thanx.

No prob. I deserved it.
