They've been in bed together since the 80's!
Better now that THEY use our engines instead of us using THEIR engines (like in the 80's) where they blew nice blue smoke clouds by a measly 150k miles or less!

Don't sell the Isuzu short guys. I owned a 86 and
believe me, it was by far the best little 4X4 I
have ever owned, hands down.
If only the the body would have outlasted the
engine and everything else that made it run down
the highway.

Ignorance is bliss.
Mitsubishi will begin selling the Raider, in the fall of 2005, which uses the same chassis and powertrain as the 05 Dakota but has new skin designed by Mitsubishi.
It certainly is not a rebadged Dakota.
Isuzu is in bed with GM, BTW.

Speaking of Isuzu, the new GM Duramax Diesels are an Isuzu design built in the US. The GM guys won't have to spring for new headgaskets every 60k miles now. My neighbor has one in his 2500. Nice motor.

I believe Dodge and Mitsubishi have been in business together since the 70's. My first car was a '74 Dodge Colt (POS) and it was built by Mitsubishi. Spacinjason

The '05 Raider is basically a rebadged Dakota. The only difference is the nose of the Raider is better looking. The interior, side and bed are the same. As of now they aren't going to offer the HO 4.7L.. One of the truck magazines had a write up on it a few months ago.

Mitsu and Chrysler have been together for quite some time. The 71 Colt was a joint venture. Bob Glidden had a few bad azzed Colts sportin W2'd small blocks.
I think the Raider looks a bit Nissan'ish
