Now where i live tons of people get pulled over for having mufflers to noisy and stuff. And i just got pulled over for having tinted windows and ticketed for it. So the cops out by me and really trigger happy. Im woundering what exhust to get thats sounds as loud as posible but at the same time isnt illegal to have and then ill have to take it off cause of the cops out by me suck. So if anyone knows a site that tells u how loud ur muffler can be and also other laws emmisions and stuff like that i could find. ALso what mufflers give the best hp and torqe and is cheap?

Tickets for that stuff are at the cops discretion really...unless you feel like taking it to court every time you're issued a ticket for it.
I would prolly suggest a Flowmaster 70 series... you may be able to get away with a 50 series.
Something you may want to consider... talk to the cops about it. If you bring it up nicely with them, they'd prolly be more than happy to give you their opinions or let you know what they consider too loud.

Look at a Borla ProXS muffler. Less than $100, and one of the quietest ones out there. Very close to stock even. However, it is all stainless and consistently lands near the top in hp/torque. I personally do not care for loud mufflers as there are too many trucks around me with them on and most of them have no other performance modifications anyway. I would rather have the performance and not bring attention to myself at the same time. Much more satisfying when you get a kill and the other guy is flabbergasted that your truck didn't even sound mean. JMHO though.
If you want some noise, look at Magnaflow. Great sound, not as noisy as a Flowmaster and good hp/torque numbers too.

Ya, i drive in 2 diferent zones. I have been driving with my tinted windows on and i havnt goten a ticket from anyone around my town but when i went to my old town to visit some friends first time i pull up to a cop seriens go on and im in whitehen getting a ticket. Also i dont feel like paying 110 bucks for each time i get caught with a loud muffler. Its like more than the muffler itself u know. So i want something as loud as posible to where if i do get a ticket i can take them to court and have them hold a decimal machine and see that mine is legal so they will leav me alone. You know?

If you want it as loud as possible, stick your head up against the tailpipe and breathe deeply.
