Well I know this is kind of off topic, but I was at Sam's Club today and they had Schumacher 70/20/2 amp full electronic battery chargers for $20. The same ones they had 6 months ago for $70-80.
I popped 2 in the cart, heard some bich'n from the wife and headed home to connect them to my 4 deep cycle boat batteries. The first battery that was discharged from trolling only took 2 hours to charge, this would have taken 4-5 hours on my old charger. 2 other batteries only took 1 hour to charge and the last battery, which was having problems holding a charge, sent the charger into desulfate mode. We'll see if this charger revives the old battery.
These units are pretty nice as the have a digital read out for battery voltage and percentage of charge, work on starting, deep cycle and AGM batteries, have desulfate mode and an alternator and battery test. One heck of a lot better than my old Minkota and HomeDepot chargers.
Heck you can't even get a crappy charger for $20, and they had these top of the line chargers for $20. Don't know if it was a mistake or if they are clearing out inventory, but I'm not complaining.
