 Subject: Fuel Pump Relay?

Hard starting with my 01 Dak, 5.9 QC 4WD. Before dumping bucks for a fuel pump or injectors it was suggested I check the fuel pump relay. Well...the slot in the junction box labeled "Fuel Pump Relay" has no relay nor any terminals in the receptacle. Does not appear there is aupposed to be one unless it it's stashed somwhere else...any ideas where?

I'm pretty sure the fuel pump relay is located under the hood, drivers side in the electrical panel.
Your hard starting problem is probably caused by a faulty check valve seal in the fuel pump assembly. It's probably a $1 part that cannot be purchased separately.
I've been there, done that.. Its not too hard to change yourself.
