Why turn it into a contest?
Stick with the ones that interest you, and don't go to the ones that don't.
It really can be as simple as that.
If there's something you don't like about a particular Dakota support forum, leave a comment at their contact email, and give them some constructive criticism.
Help them improve, for the benefit of us all.

What sucks is the moronic "credo" of Dodgedakotas.com. Because both DakUSA and DAktrucks core members all met on this site here!!!! But due to the un registered posting on this site, now we have to surf 5 or 6 sites to get the info we had on this site at one time.
This site had the potential three years ago to a real big MAJOR site. Although the traffic is high, the substance is poor now.
The owner of this site has no idea about making money. I know he gets income from here, but if he would have structured this site better, he would be making much more.
Shame too. And that brings us to this post. I would like to add a third player to this. Dodgetrucks.org. Not an exclusive Dak site, but got a lot of our members as well.
Basically they split in three. Some surf them all, but most just post on one.
But hey, we have free speech.

Sin City, no offense intended. I guess I am gaugeing the site by the number of posts and the recency of them. By 9:24am, this site had 9 threads on the GENERAL board that were dated and posted on 2/18/05. Dak-dur.com had 2 and notahemi had 1.
By far, the information on Dak-dur.com is FAR superior and more helpful, as well as structured and easy to read. Many people don't find it because Google pops up daktrucks.com earlier in the search (try "dodge dakota" in a search. This one is #5, Dak-dur is #6. Without quotes, the numbers are #4 vs. #6.). Others just like the free post without a log-on.
I personally like dak-dur, but I wish it was more populated. This one just explodes with numerous posts when something new happens to our trucks (a new R/T, Ball Joints, Recalls, Superchips, etc.). Dak-dur pulls one or two new threads and discusses them more in depth.
Thirdly, this site is almost never moderated (see "MAKE MONEY FAST" and "FREE MONEY" threads). That creates a lot of garbage and re-posts.
All three have their benefits and draw backs. I like this one's population, Dak-dur's information, and notahemi's specifics. With better structure and moderation, this one would rock. With more people and trucks, dak-dur would rule. Notahemi is getting there. Good job with the site and good luck. Find a way to have the search engines put you up higher, because that is how people get hooked on a site.

My website was originally designed to be just a reference tool centered around the parts information section, to help all the people who kept asking about aftermarket parts. A couple of years ago Mark locked everyone out of this site except for the people who paid for a membership (it was changed back a few weeks later after all the riots). Right after the dd.com lockdown Delphi Forums crashed and burned after a major software update, so people were looking for a place to come chat - DakotaUSA wasn't operational at the time, so I added some forum software to my site.
dd.com always gets lots of traffic because of the handy URL, but the internet trolls who hide behind the unmoderated anonymous posting system are everywhere - I rarely visit this site in comparison to the others anymore.
My site is enjoying a revival of sorts in the message board area, and I plan on keeping everything chugging along as long as possible. My ISP costs are a miniscule fraction of what everyone else seems to be paying, I'm already pre-paid for the next two years. Hopefully I'll see more and more people there.
