 Subject: 05 Dak Lift potential

I know the 05 Dak has a new suspension...Was just wondering from anyone who knows about this stuff. With its new suspension does it fair better then the 2000+ Daks for lifts. Is Coil over easier to lift?

well it is a better overall suspension set up, but im not sure about easier to lift. Depends really on how much lift you are looing for. After all a simple twist of the torsion bars and you can have a free 2" frontlift with the pre -05 models. With the 05 models a simple space for the coil would do the same and they are usually under 40 bucks. The potential of the 05+ to have more companies offer lift kits is promising in my opinion. Due to the fact that the 2wd and 4wd are the same ride hight and use many of the same components a lift company could basicially make 1 lift and sell them for 2wd and 4wd. The R&D money would go farther making the lift more profitable for the maker. Hope this helps
