Subject: Help! 16" to 15" rims

Message:
I want to purchase a second set of rims to mount snow/ice tires on. Can I put stock 15" x 7 rims on my 2002 QC that runs 16" x 8 rims? Will the 15's clear my brakes?

no, the tires will burn up or maybe even explode as they turn. this would cause a nuclear reaction and destroy the world. so, maybe its not a great idea.

however, if you fly it to Iraq, tell all of our guys to leave and then cause the nuclear reaction.....i think we'd all be okay with that.

I don't know if I'd trust that anonymous post by "yes" - I've heard the calipers on the larger rotors in the trucks with 16" rims will interfere with the 15" rims.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way

Funny that Daknut should mention Nuclear Reaction...I ship radioactive material for a living. I have 1 yes and 1 no. Now I'm really confused about this caliper issue. Anybody know 100% for sure?
