Does anyone here on this board have problem with a popping or rubbing noise in their cab? I have an 04 club cab, and the noise is driving me nuts. It sounds like it is either coming from the right a-pillar where it meets the dash, or from underneath near the corner of the door. Any help would be appreciated.

Let your wife out of the glove box. No , seriously thats where the heater motor is. Could be that. Also the heater hoses come through the firewall on that side. Dead mouse in the heater housing? Or maybe he's still alive and trying to keep up with the heater motor.

I don't think it could be that. It sounds like it could be the dash rubbing against something or maybe something in the door. I don't know. The dealer will be getting it back maybe this week.

Sean I have a noise like that. It is annoying. My guess is the cold (single digits) causes something to shrink and become loose or rub. If I ever figure it out I`ll post.

Well, the other day I tore the passenger side mirror off, so I will have the dealer fix that and have them look into the noise too. They had better fix it because it only has 6000 miles!
