Subject: Overhead puter install

Message:
I have an 03 Dakota Quad Cab. I purchase a console with Homelink, gas mileage, temp etc.

I don't have a prewired harness for this. I am attempting to hardwire it. I have already read the prior post on this subject but mine is different.

On the console unit I have six wires in the plug. 3 are for the lights: Pink, Black, and Yellow and are on one side of the plug. Using my existing console diagram I know where they go.

Now on the overhead console computer I have 4 wires. One is pink (Hot) which connects to the pink for the lights. This leaves me with 3 black wires comming from the computer. One I assume will go to the PCI bus (which I still haven't located, one is probably a ground and I an not sure on the third black wire is.

Can anyone help determine what the wires are and where each wire connects to?

Thanks

I figured it out. Went to the dealership and the chrystler tech. gave me a computer printout of the plug in which contained the wire colors, the location of each wire in the plug, and where each wire is run to. I hard wired it and it only to about two hours. Everything works great! Don't need any help after all.

This is a Jeep site, but the general info is quite good, and may provide some helpful hookup info.
