Canuckdak, I installed a "bull dog" system i picked up from target for $35, it has the keyless entry, remote start/stop, has timer or can be controlled by temperature, and also has if you want to leave the truck running but take the keys with you, you can remove the keys and the trk will stay running. My trk '00 4.7l had no keyless entry that I know of (bought used). Was easy to install, some wires colors were different, but with some basic electrical knowledge was able to install still with no problems. It has been about 1.5 yrs and still working like a champ, not 100% sure if would work for yours but they do have a tech line if needed. I don't have the model # but will post it. (sorry for the novel!)
