 Subject: Sirius antenna location

Just setting up my Xact Stream Jockey. What has everyones preference been for their antenna install. Ive tested the dash, and Im now testing it on the front roof area of my 2003 Quad Cab. Roof, so far is better, but I wanna here from people who have tried it near the roof rear. Any tips or experience with this would be great, thanks.

I put my antenna for my sportster on the roof. I ran the wire out from the 3rd brake light. I notched the top edge of the brake light put a little silicone and put it back in. The wire I ran around the top edge of the headliner and down the driver side A piller and under the dash.
I cut the cigerett lighter adapter off and hard wired it so it turns on and off with the radio.
As for mounting it I removed the silly little change tray next to the glove box and made a bracket to attach the mounting bracket that came with the unit. If you want to see a pic I can email it to you.
