If I have a 5 speed manual in my truck, will towing in 5th gear (OD) cause any overheating in the manual transmission? I have heard about overheating while towing with an automatic in OD, but what about towing with a manual trans?

with an auto there is less line pressure and therefore less cooling(not as much volume going through cooler) in overdrive. with a manual just don`t lug it.
