Subject: What Does Everyone Think?

Message:
I was wondering what everyone thought about these rotors. I want to use them on my 99 5.2L. I am currently living in rotor warp he*l and am looking for good parts to correct the situation (for more then 2 months).

Any remarks (not flaming) are apprecited.

Thanks,

ZoSo

Looks like a pretty darn good deal to me. I just got one new front rotor and the other one turned and it cost me 50 bucks. Couldn't hurt, if the other one's have been warping in no time anyway.

These have been discussed here before with bad comments. My opinion is, it looks like Woody Woodpecker got carried away at the CNC machine. The rotors have too many holes, I think this will cause structural problems and if you notice the outer row of holes is realy close to the edge of the rotor. Take a look at companies in the braking industry; Brembo, Raybestos, PowerStop (whoever makes them). They don't have this many holes and the holes are not close to the outer edge of the rotor.

I had Raybestos SuperStop rotors on my 00 CC and they stayed true for 40-50K, even with towing my boat for 1-2K. They were $85 at rockauto.com and worth every penny. I wished I had pulled them off my truck after wrecking it, they were still in great shape. Heck, I was going to sell them for $50 just so the insurance company or junk yard didn't get them. But, I forgot to take my "warped" stock rotors with me when I stripped the truck. Sorry for the mistake,,, LOL

WOW!
DSW is right!
Holes way too big, too close to the edge.
Who or what is FB Performance?
Manufactured in North America" does NOT mean "Made in USA."

Thanks for the opinion guys. I was also thinking that these rotors looked a little home made on a CNC mill. I dodnt want to say anything just incase anyone else thought the same thing.

But, you have to admit that on first glance they look decent. Just not for our type of application.

Thanks

Yeah, When I saw these I was like WOW good price! Then I looked closer and though D@MN bad rotors!

No way am I trusting my truck and family's safety to a set of rotors that could have structural problems. I bet this guy is buying cheap overseas rotors (the ones prone to warping) and drilling the out to make them resemble performance brake rotors. I guess that's why they call it "Flea Bay".

Buyer beware and always check the sellers feedback!
