I am having problems with my armrest in my 2000 Regular cab. When I move it up the plastic part on the drivers side comes out(can't figure out how to describe)it is the part that covers up the moving hinge, the plastic pops out, it is like 6 inches long. Sorry for bad description but has any one else had this problem

Same thing happened with mine on my 99 club cab. Unfortunately the darn thing broke off :-(
To be honest, unless your looking for it it isn't even noticeable. I mention this so that you might catch it before it breaks on you as well.
I believe what originally caused it was excessive weight on the top of the console (just before it began giving me problems, my daughter used it as a seat rest :-(.
....If you are still under warranty I suggest sweet talking the dealer into possibly fixing it before it is too late. Not sure if it is a warranty item...but he who yells loudest often gets his way :-)

Thanks it is really annoying, so I think I am going to have it fixed, hopefully it is under warrenty or a cheap fix.

Probably the only thing I don't like about my Dak.
Just been keeping the arm rest down so as not to p!$$ me off-figured I'd just Dremel the dang thing off sooner or later.
Let us know if dealer has a fix.
