Please help! I am stationed in Germany, and have to get my vehicle registered. However, they wont register it because of a recall #8591 that was not performed before my truck was shipped here. This recall pertains to the PCM catalyst monitor... The Daimler Chrysler here says they have no contracts to perform recalls on U.S. spec'd Dodge vehicles, so I cant get this recal done. I have been getting the run-around and no one seems to be able to give me an answer, and I must figure this out to get inspected.
Here is my question:
DOES THIS RECALL APPLY TO THE MOPAR PERFORMANCE PCM MODULE? I have the performance module installed and was hoping it didnt apply to this performance pcm.

not sure if it applies or not, but sounds like they will re-program your pcm
