dudes and duddettes,
where do i get the tail gate locks for my 2000 Dak? i just got them new APC Euro taillights and they cost me like over a hundred dollars. thanks in advance.

Ok, Scotty, I've been meaning to do this for awhile too, so I went on a web safari. Here's what I found. Pop & lock is made by Pace Edwards, and they make both a keyed lock, and a power lock for 2000 daks. Also, Bully makes a keyed lock. Prices were all over the map, and I have no idea about any of the venders listed here, just what I found on my search.

Last, theres P.O.P. locks, they make power locks. http://www.poplocks.com/Page.cfm?InfoID=741 They have a good locking product, but not for the dak. I e-mailed them to get on the stick and build one for us. I like their camper shell deadbolt power lock.
So, which one should we get? I like the power lock wired into the main doorlock circuit idea. Which venders?

bro you just saved my life in searching. thanks a million bro!!! well the reason why i'm getting a lock is because of the new 2000 APC euro taillights i got. its so that no one can steal it. i think i'll get the cheapest ones from pick up accessories...... what $19 bucks?
