 Subject: CTM Core?

I recently had the computer replaced which controls wipers, electronics, headlights, etc. (dealer calls it the "CTM" if i remember).
I kept the core to see if i could spot any damage, none visible. Just curious if anyone buys the cores for repair, or worst case needs a core donated to them.

CTM = Central Timer Module
CTM's are not refurbished, yet, to the best of my knowledge.

I have one and my CTM doesn't work, i'm living in venezuela and here coulnd't find the part to buy it. there is another way to solve it? maybe changing any poarameter in the computer?

There are 2 people remanning CTMs on Ebay. Both are at the $100 tag. Problem is you have to send them your unit. Looks like I need one to send the guy and still drive with mine.
BTW
My Seat belt/Light chime starts when the speed reaches 30 mph. And all the exterior lamps (head and tail) turn off when the door is opened and the interior lights don't work

I just replaced one in my 2003 Dodge Dakota. The Dome light stayed on, Never had any Head, Tail, or License Plate lights. Also my intermediate windshield wipers feature would not work. I gave $197.00 for the CTM and $77.00 labor bill. Never took him 55 minutes to find and fix the problem.
