 Subject: Amsoil MPG report

After changing to Amsoil in the crank case, and the front & rear differential I thought I'd give you my mileage report. Now this is my first gas fill up after the change and it is only 384.3 miles.
MPG improvement 1.456 or 7.86% mpg improvement from 18.52 to 19.973 - the 18.52 is what I recoded as the MPG for December 2003 - highway miles. I think the comparrison between the time periods is fair. All I added from last year is a heat shield around the cold air intake.
Since this isn't a long period of time and only 1 fill up I increased the gas used from 19.973 to 20.473 and the MPG improvement is still .949 mpg improvement or 5.13% increase.
Not too bad - I'll keep tracking it.

I hear the following question often:
