my 2003r/t only has 13700mi. on it. i have looked at the tires today.if i am lucky i may get another 5000mi. on them.i am not impressed with the eagle rsa's. i had eagles on my 98 camaro and i only got 28k on them. the local goodyear dealer went to bat claiming the tires must be defective since all "4" tires were worn withe the most tread left being 1/4 in.i was able to get 50% discount on new tires.
the rsa'a only have a treadwear rating of "260"/ very low.here are my questions
1>what do you think are the best tires for r/t(i live in florida)
2>what is the largest width tire that can be used?(255/55r17)is stock. i found more options with 275 tire.
3>anyone heard of Kuhmo tires? $82/tire where most others are 140+/tire.

don't get kumho, I had a set of the 712 series on my truck and they didn't last but for 5 months. They spin really easy but the are quit that dont't scream when you do a burn out. They handle pretty good and channeled rain good too. But if you are going for tread wear then I would go with one of the more pricey brands they tend to wear longer

my buddy has Kumho's on his Kia sorrento and swears by them, i just got some Kumho mud terrains(and i use them on the highway more than anything else), and i bought a set of 795 's for my girl friend. They are a good tire, just cheap because they don't spend a sh!tload advertising. But check some reviews on the web and see what everyone has to say. Ohh yeah, they are also one of the biggest sponser of the off road truck races at the Unadilla National Motocross track here in NY, you can't miss their banner! I like them, but to each his own!!!
