 Subject: Mildew Smell after Wiper Motor Recall

Is anyone else noticing a mildew smell coming out of the heater after getting the wiper motor recall fix? I got it fixed about two months ago and ever since I notice a mildew smell after it rains or after washing the truck that lasts for about a minute after I turn the heater on. I think the piece of rubber weather stripping they installed as part of the recall is causing the water to pool and just sit there instead of drain away. I also notice since then a little moisture collecting on the driver's side floorboard after it rains hard.
