 Subject: 02 4X4 Quad Cab Air Bag light?

I own an 02 Dodge Dakota 4x4 Quad Cab with the 4.7L v8 in it, 52k on the miles. The air bag light has started coming on and going off especially whenever I am turning a curve. It has gotten worse and worse and because of the warning sound it has gotten very annoying. Anyone had any experience with an 02 model and if so what was the cause. I did a search but every time they mentioned something about a clockspring and then somebody would end up hijacking the thread about something else before there was a good explanation. Thanks for the help!

I'd check with your stealership first. It may be
a freebie because of safety.
And yes, clockspring has been some problems in
Dodge trucks but I have a 02 and never got a
recall for that problem but did with a 01 full
size Ram.
