I've been looking into getting an electric fan for my '00 Dak QC. It has a 5.9L. I have found a Flex-a-Lite 15" puller fan that moves 2800 cfm at 13.9 amps. Would this be enough airflow to keep that big 5.9L cool??

I installed an electric fan on my '87 Dak 4x4 3.9L with an adjustable thermostat and it works great! Not to mention the extra power. With the limited power the GenI's have the extra horsepower can really be felt. It's definitely worth the investment.

ive got an 02 3.9 with the built in electric fan mounted behind the radiator for the a/c compressor. could i hook up a flexalite adjustable thermostat to that fan and remove my clutch fan, and just use that other fan as my main cooler? is it possible to hook up something like that to that stock electric fan?
