My 04 QC has 245-70-16 on the 7" rims. I want to install a set of factory flares, but I'm not sure how it will look without the 265's on 16X8"s. Anybody have experience with this setup?
Thanks
Kevin

It looks alright. Not as good as 8" wheels look with the flares. A friend of my son has a 2004 QC (daddy bought it) with 7" wheels and flares. It looks better than the same trucks w/o the flares. Just my $.02...

Do you have those rims that look like a miniature verstion of the 20s on the Rams? I think those look sweet but can't understand why Dodge made them 7 instead of 8 inches. Nice looking rims, but they look kind of skilly from certain angles. I know you wouldn't think 1 inch would make that much of a difference but it seems to.

I got the 245/70/16s on 8 inch rims on my early model year 04 Quad. Looks fine with the flares but when they wear out they'll get replaced with 265s, as I really like how those fill out the fender wells on the trucks with the sport package.

I have an 02 Sport 4x4 that came with 15x7 rims with the 235 75 15 tires on them and I added flares and they looked okay...but I soon found me some 16x8 with 265 70 16 tires on them and now it looks GREAT.
