Owned a piece of crap for 5 years and my truck went unmolested last year, so I completely forgot all about mischief night. Then came downstairs this morning to go to work and I see all these small white and yellowish specks all over my truck. At first Im confused. No, not parked under a tree. Doesn't look like bird crap. Then I start seeing pieces of shell and almost shat a brick. I guess that's the price of making your vehicle look nice, you're #1 on every immature and inconsiderate a$$hole's radar. The piece of crap last Generation T-bird coupe parked next to me got hit too, but I think I was the primary target and the worthless pussy that did it had bad aim.

Lookes OK now, as it only sat over night and I think I got to it just in time. Pressure washed the hell out of it for a good 10 minutes then went over whatever was still there with bug and tar remover. Thank god I am one of those people that applies waxe with what some think is excessive frequency. I can only hope and pray that whatever dipsh!t mongrel bastards did it grow up and get off mommy's tit so one day they learn what it feels like to work long hours at a stressful job for months or years to get something nice for yourself which someone else can then severely damage in a couple minutes.

I actually, no lie, probably wouldn't have gone to bed last night if I had remembered what night it was. But that's OK, no harm done. Next year me and my Quad will pull an all-nighter, with me sitting there on the tailgate with my law enforcement OC-spray and a collapsible baton on one side, a pair of cuffs on the other, plus a cell phone to call the police with.

That is sorta what happened to me last night. I was on the way to my womans house and this stupid black kid decides to throw an egg at my truck. I was goin about 45 and out of the corner of my eye I see this big white object comin towards my truck. I was like OH $HIT! It hit behind the drivers door right above the rocker panel. The dang thing made a nice impact print that has little specks where the shell hit. When it hit, I slammed the brakes on, put it in reverse and was goin after the phucker! I thought I had my gun w/ me but I didn't(was gonna shoot in the air to scare the dumass) and I tried to find my knife to no avail. The a$$hole was hiding in a yard of this house that had no outside lights on and when they saw me backing up, they fled. I was majorly pissed. This is the second time this has happened. The last time(it was in July of last year), me and my g/f were goin to my house(on a diiferent street this time) and some more stupid black kids decided it'd be funny to launch a couple at my truck while goin 50+ mph. One egg hit the front of my hood and made the impact like the above mentioned impact and the other egg hit the top of my windshield. The dam eggs were rotten and b/c my hood was warm, it smelled for a few days after. Dammit!!!! I hate a$$holes that do this $hit!!! GEEZ! Now I have two frickin' egg impact designs on my truck and I am tryin to sell it. $hit like that doesn't help one bit.

Had my truck egged a couple years ago by a group of girls who thought it'd be a funny prank to do to my brother...they intended to hit the house and one missed, drilling the side of my truck. Luckily a 50/50 mix of vinegar to water got it all off without killing my paint. I forgot all about this weekend and didn't even think about my truck...which i just got new chrome wheels and tires on yesterday. I'll have to remember that next year and set up a video camera just in case...don't want to end up with thousands of dollars worth of damage cuz some dumbass decided to get his jollies off messing with my truck.

I bought some SWAT gear, and handed out candy for 3 years in a row, dressed up in full gear. Kids kept asking me what it was like to be a SWAT team member, and kept telling me that they thought it was so cool, and they wanted to be a cop one day too. Now bear in mind that I am no cop, or member of SWAT, but I thought the costume would be nifty and entertaining for the kids.

That was about 8 years ago, and I haven't been egg'ed, TP'd, or soaped since. I used to put up with sort of crap almost every year prior to that costume. I guess word got out, and I got some respect, although it was un-intentional on my part. I'm not going to tell anyone otherwise though, since what they don't know wont hurt em.

greendak, YOU are the dumbass, if you even THOUGHT to "shoot in the air to scare the dumass". Did you ever think about WHERE that bullet would land?? Grow up. I appreciate you wanting to keep your truck looking nice and I know how frustrating it is when it gets messed up, but it was an EGG - clean it up and get over it!

Exactly, which is why I only plan to heave non-lethal weapons with me. Much easier to justify.

eddy, where is it ok to do 45 and 50+ mph in an area with houses and yards? If you were going that fast through my neighbor hood you'd be happy to leave with just an egg.

Luckily our garage is large and clutter free enough to fit all 3 cars.

Jeremy,

greendak said that...not eddy. And there's areas where you can legally go 50+ by houses and yards. Basically anywhere outside of city limits...around here the speed limit's either 50 or 55 in those parts.

I know I said that "I'd shoot up in the air to scare the dumass", but I wouldn't actually. I was pissed when I typed that reply. There are a crapload of neighborhoods(in the city limits) around roads where you can do 45-55mph. As for you Jeremy, I could maybe see you doing it if someone were SPEEDING. I don't speed through neighborhoods b/c I know that ppl/kids run out in the streets w/o looking and I have heard of too many ppl being killed or injured b/c of it.

You're only allowed to get pissed about being egg'd or TP'd if you never did it to anyone else when you were little.

Nope, never done it. NEver even been mildly tempted. Never understood what enjoyment there was to be found in defacing expensive stuff.

I ALREADY dress like a cop every day. I'm not local but I wear blue. I woulda thought some of them little mofos woulda seen me coming to and from work as they walked to school but I guess not. Unfortunately I live in an apartment complex where not just anybody can come knocking so the whole trick-or-treat thing would isn't really workable.

I recognize that you can kill someone with pretty much anything. Sorry, didn't think anybody would harp on that as an excuse to brag about whatever ninja skills they might have. But for the purposes of general classification, the weapons I am allowed to carry are officially in two categories. LEthal and non-lethal, or maybe to phrase it better lethal and intermediate. This is not so much based upon their maximum potential use but really on their intended purpose as dictated by agency policy. It's more semantics than anything else. If I draw my Beretta briggadier 96 D 40 cal, there's only one reason. To kill in order to protect my life or someone else's. My training dictates if I draw OC spray or asp, my intent must be non-lethal control of a subject in order to induce compliance with verbal commands, not to kill anybody. I am well aware that if I beat someone on the face non stop with my baton for long enough I could kill them, but according to official agency policy that is not its intended purpose. So when I referred to lethal vs. non lethal it was in terms of agency policy, not the actual capability or lack thereof of the weapon itself to create deadly force.

The closer I look at your response the more I would guess you are of a military background, where killing is the name of the game. Understand that I am on the other hand law enforcement, where we are taught that the use of force is in a continuum that escalates from non-lethal un-armed control techniques through the use of intermediate weapons to the pulling of a firearm, depending on the situation. Taking a life for us is considered the absolute last resort when all else fails, so rather than being taught to view everything as a potential instrument of death we are taught that each different weapon has a purpose that fits somewhere specific on that continuum of force. The gun is to kill, everything else on the belt is to bring about a situation of control and compliance.
